Many of you know her as the face of Nonna Goes Crazy.

But Fernanda was so much more than that.

She was an icon of Bairro Alto. A true Lisboeta. A storyteller, an actress, a force of nature. She had this rare ability to make everyone around her smile. She was endlessly curious, incredibly generous, and somehow always managed to find joy in the simplest moments.

When we met her, we were just looking for a “Nonna”. What we found was family.

She became our adoptive grandma. We shared coffees, pasta, long walks through Lisbon, countless laughs, and stories we’ll carry with us forever. She gave a soul to our brand in a way no campaign, no logo, no marketing idea ever could.

At 80 years old, she got a little star tattooed on her arm. She called it “a sua estrelinha”: the little star that would always guide her. That was Fernanda. Brave until the very end. Always choosing life, always choosing joy.

Nonna Goes Crazy wouldn’t be what it is today without her. She reminded us that food isn’t just about eating. It’s about people, warmth, connection and love.

She wasn’t just our model.

She was our Nonna.

Thank you for everything, Fernanda. We hope your little star is still guiding you, and us, wherever you are. 🤍✨
