A tourist from New Zealand walked into our stall…
and this became one of those little moments that truly made our day. 🇳🇿🍜

Meet Steven.

He was visiting Singapore and asked ChatGPT which laksa he should try.

To our surprise and joy, 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙛 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙨𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 — and it even mentioned that we were only about 10–15 minutes’ walk from his hotel.

So Steven decided to come in and search for our little laksa stall at Aljunied.

And honestly… you can see it from his face.
He looked genuinely happy that he made the trip. ❤️

He tried our King Of Laksa, shared his honest thoughts, and reminded us why we do what we do every single day.

We don’t just want to serve laksa.
