Following our beautiful Saffrons Qurban collaboration with Sis Zarina’s 3R community, we caught up with Bear, one of the key faces behind the incredible riding group Team Outsider.

For over a decade, Bear and his fellow riders have been the quiet muscle behind these charity drives—clocking miles across Singapore to ensure families in need get taken care of. When Sis Zarina reached out just two months after a hectic Ramadan drive to ask if they could deliver freshly cooked Saffrons Qurban Mutton Briyani, Bear’s response was immediate.

"When Saffrons stepped up to provide the Qurban and cook the food, we knew we had to do our part to bridge the final mile. Riding out to deliver hot food directly to the doorsteps of our 3R starfishes—seeing their smiles—that is all the payment we need. We are so incredibly honored to have partnered with Sis Zarina’s 3R community and the selfless riders of Team Outsider for a very special, unexpected Qurban initiative!
For over 10 years, Team Outsider has quietly embodied the spirit of paying it forward, traditionally helping Sis Zarina deliver essential groceries to her "3R starfishes" (beneficiaries) every Ramadan. But yesterday was a beautiful exception. Just two months after their intense Ramadan Drive, Sis Zarina put out an urgent call for help—and these amazing riders answered without a single hesitation. 🤝✨

📦 The Mission: Delivering Hot Saffrons Qurban Briyani
Saffrons provided the Qurban and stepped into the kitchen to cook up our signature, fragrant Mutton Briyani. From there, the brotherhood of Team Outsider took over! They loaded up their bikes and rode across Singapore to deliver these freshly cooked, blessed meals right to the doorsteps of families who needed them most. 🏍️💨
What humbles us the most is the pure heart of these riders. Despite attempts to offer them a small token of appreciation—duit minyak, duit penat, or duit kopi—they consistently declined. They do this entirely out of love, faith, and a desire to serve.
