Orchid Live Seafood will be undergoing renovation from 11 August onwards to serve you better in a more comfortable space.
Orchid Live Seafood 将于8月11日起进行餐厅翻新，希望为大家打造一个更舒适、更美好的用餐环境。

We’ll still be open before renovation begins, and our Jalan Kelulut outlet remains open as usual during this period.
在翻新开始前，我们将照常营业。翻新期间，Jalan Kelulut分店也将继续照常营业，欢迎大家前来用餐。

As importers of seafood, our recent trip to Western Australia gave us a deeper appreciation for the journey before it reaches our hands.

We went out to sea with local fishermen, experienced the choppy waters, and saw the long hours and effort behind every catch.

One moment that stayed with us was watching each lobster being measured carefully. If it wasn’t the right size, it went straight back into the sea.

No guessing. No shortcuts.

It made us appreciate the seafood we serve even more, not just for its freshness, but for the people, care and responsibility behind it.

And that’s something we hope to keep close to heart as we continue bringing seafood from around the world to our tables here in Singapore.

That’s why we use live coral trout, lightly steamed to preserve its natural flavours, and finished with a balanced sauce instead of overpowering it.

Live green lip abalone, slow-braised for hours 👀
活青边鲍，慢火焖煮数小时 👀

It starts with live green lip abalone for our core dishes (not canned ones).
我们的招牌菜，坚持选用活青边鲍入菜（不是罐头鲍鱼）。

From there, it’s a slow process of hours of braising, carefully done to preserve its natural texture and depth of flavour.
接下来，是长时间细火慢焖的过程，小心拿捏火候，只为保留鲍鱼最自然的口感与鲜味层次。

Once you've tried this, you will NEVER want canned ones. Trust us.
吃过这一口之后，你大概就再也回不去罐头鲍鱼了。相信我们。
