1. Authenticity
and Discovery
The Mango Beach Resort is located in the southeast of the country, in an authentic landscape that stretches between the Cambodian mountains and the Gulf of Thailand, facing the paradisiac islands of Koh Kood, Koh Mak and Koh Chang. About ten miles south, sit the fishing villages of Khlong Yai, where almost 15 000 scattered inhabitants form the nearest urbanization, while few kilometers north, the beach of Ban Shuen is a popular destination for the local family on weekends. Many activities are proposed to discover these landscapes off the beaten track - among nature, discovery and “end of the world” lovers, to explore the typical tastes and flavors of the South of Thailand, such as gemstones mines, traditional temples in tropical forest, floating market, fisher man villages, elephant riding on Koh Chang. With such tranquil beaches and tasty seafood, the area remains a surprisingly well-kept secret.
2. Calm and relaxation
Nestled in the foothills of Cambodia, the resort consists mainly of private bungalows scattered in a two hectare park on the beachfront, offering a peaceful environment, ideal for relaxation and rest. A variety of massage and beauty treatments are proposed, the fabulous beachfront being a perfect yoga location. Several all included yoga retreat packages are proposed. Offering foods from local produce, our Restaurant "Le Manao" assembles in his menu Thai traditional dishes saveurs and internation¬al traveller’s palette, possibly served on the beach. Our village fishermen offer their catch of the day, fresh from the sea, often including fresh prawns, crab squid, a variety of fish, and many fruit and vegetables of this agricultural region. Cooking classes are as well organised to discover the world renowned Thai food, all about balance between different flavours.
3. Luxury and comfort
From the initial design to the managing of the hotel, the comfort of our guests is at the center of our concerns. One of the focuses of this new building of 2012 was the privatization of spaces of high quality, by the isolation of the front beach bungalows, the arrangement of the landscape, and the very good thermal and phonic insulation of all spaces. Decoration, furnishings and numerous equipment such as free Wifi in all rooms reflect this attention to high standards of comfort, mixed with a part of Thai tradition. The moderate size of our Resort allows impeccable and friendly service to all our clients at all time.
