Last night, we served our final guests for the spring course—marking the end of this first chapter of MOTOI Bangkok.

It’s been memorable.
It’s been meaningful.
Every dish, every conversation, every moment shared with you has shaped who we are.

But this is not goodbye.

Behind the scenes, something new is already taking shape.
A transformation that reflects everything we’ve learned—infused with more freedom, more creativity, and a whole lot more fun.

We’ll be back in just about a month.
And we can’t wait to welcome you into the next chapter of MOTOI.

Big announcement from MOTOI Bangkok🙇

Our final service in the current format will be on May 25th, 2025.

After that, MOTOI Bangkok will close for renovation—both in space and in spirit.

This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, led by Chef Kazuma.
For nearly a year, Chef Kazuma has trained, grown, and quietly taken root in our kitchen. With deep respect for tradition and a clear creative voice of his own, he is now ready to lead.

When we reopen, it will be with a new vision—a more casual, locally rooted concept that reflects the evolving spirit of our restaurant and our deep connection to Thailand.

To all our guests: thank you and we invite you to join us one more time before May 25th.

Chef MOTOI in Chiang Mai and Lampang
Over the past week, we had the honor of bringing Chef MOTOI on a journey through Chiang Mai and Lampang — a trip that took us deep into the forests, markets, and mountains of Northern Thailand in search of rare, seasonal ingredients.

From foraged mountain herbs to unique forest mushrooms, every stop unveiled flavors and stories that can only be found in this region. But more than the ingredients, it was the people we met along the way who made the journey unforgettable.

We’re deeply grateful for everyone who took the time to show us their world. This trip wasn’t just about sourcing — it was about reconnecting with nature, culture, and community. And of course, planting the seeds for new inspiration to bloom in our kitchens back home.

Something new and exciting is also going to happen soon at MOTOI Bangkok!
