Dear valued customers,

As the term of the rent was due in June 2014, we have no choice but to close down the coffee shop for the time being, until we find a suitable place to reopen our business. We greatly apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We were opened in March 2012 which made it a total of 28 months that we had the shop running. It was our first try in coffee shop business and although it only barely broke even, it met our objective of realising the coffee shop dream that we have had for a decade. We learned many new things and also found out that there is always room for improvement in this service industry.

We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to all customers, many of whom have become friends to us. If chances permit, we hope to make 'smooth note coffee' for you again in the future.

We will be closed for new year from 29 Dec to 2 Jan, and will open again on 3 Jan.

We have a great variety of customers. Students, tourists, working people, moms waiting for kids, nurses from St. Louis hospital, etc. We couldn't name them all. We try to serve our best but we sometimes fail. But we hope to do better. A big 'thank you' to all.

We are 10 months old. The first 4 months were quiet, then slowly we started to make ends meet. But we also began to realize that that's about the best we can do. But we are not discouraged. Not at all. Though we will ask the landlord for a lower rent! :-)

We were opened in March 2012. So that makes us 10 months old at the end of Dec. We will be around for another 6 months until June 2013 before the owner of the building tears the building down and turns it into another high tech, modern looking skyscraper. We hope to serve you our best in the remaining days.
