Hello, coffee drinkers.
As you may have known, we closed abruptly in late October last year. While this was an unplanned decision, it was not a spontaneous or thoughtless one.
For the past (almost) 2 years of our time in Ari, we’ve worked tirelessly to deliver exceptional coffee with consistency. Our priority has always been taste and quality over quantity (sales volume).
The cost to acquire quality coffee beans as well as the general cost of goods and ingredients have risen greatly throughout this time. We pushed through confidently, absorbing the rising costs without raising prices.
This was not the primary reason for our closing, though it was a decisive factor. Combined with other reasons, we made a quick and firm decision to close.
We are so grateful for the community, the regulars, the passerby - both who come by our physical location as well as the delivery orders that many times pour in more quickly than our baristas can handle! We are so thankful. We are so glad to know that our intention and our mission to provide good coffee did not go to waste - that it was well-received by members of the coffee community that hold similar values to us in the “good brew.”
Within days of our closing, we are surprised once more to hear from so many customers reaching out about our situation, wished us luck, and hope to see us brewing again.
What we now know for certain is that we’ve found our people - those with refined taste, yearning for exceptional coffee at a reasonable price. And we are here to provide.
We will do our very best to come back stronger, to brew our signature taste for you once again.
