Meet the Indian Paracycling Team!

Consul of India in Chiang Mai Mr. Pranav Ganesh was honored and humbled to meet the Indian Paracycling team, representing India at the UCI Lana Paracycling Cup in Chiang Mai! The team, led by Paralympian Aditya Mehta, founder of the Aditya Mehta Foundation, and Dr. Asha Shaikh, head physiotherapist, comprises talented athletes like World No. 1 Jyoti Gadaria and World No. 3 Shaik Arshad.

The Aditya Mehta Foundation, Asia's first Parasports Academy and Rehabilitation Center, has trained athletes in 29 parasports, winning over 400 international medals and supporting over 10,000 persons with disabilities.

Recently, the team won 47 medals at the UCI 1st Lana Paracycling Cup 2025 and is back for the 2nd edition!

Huge thanks to Indian Bites Cafe and Vegetarian at Chiang Mai, run by Indian nationals based out of Chiang Mai, for hosting us for the meeting, as well as providing support to the team during their stay in Chiang Mai.
