Hat Yai Municipal Park is located on Kanchanawanit Road and is approximately 6 km from the city centre on the Hat Yai-Songkhla Highway. A popular recreational spot for the local residents, the park is beautifully decorated with colorful flowers. With a pavilion in the middle of the pond, an aviary, and food stalls, the park is the perfect place to spend a peaceful evening. Additional attractions include a statue of King Rama V that is enshrined at the foot of the hill near the aviary, a hill-top Brahman shrine (ThaoMaha Phrom) and a jade statue of Guan-yin, the Chinese Goddess situated.

Paddle boats:
Paddle boats is one of the activities you can have when visiting this park. It cost 40 baht for 2 people for an hour. They have more than 20 colorful boats so they can accommodate lots of tourists.

Hat Yai Cable Car is offering a convenient and trendy way to travel from Phra Buddha Mongkol Maharaj and ThaoMaha Phrom with the guaranteed standard from Europe. It takes only 2 minutes and 30 seconds for the ride. Meanwhile, visitors will also experience the beautiful view of Hat Yai city.
It is open daily from 09:00-20:00 at Phra Buddha Mongkol Maharaj and ThaoMaha Phrom stations. The entrance fee is 100 baht for Thai visitors, 50 baht for children (not above 150 cm.) and 200 baht for foreign visitors.
