Our chef is shocked by the situation on the roads. Terrible accidents involving tourists and locals are taking the lives of wonderful people. The longest road from Thong Nai Pan beach to Mae Haad beach is 28 km. So, if you travel at 80 km/h, you will reach your destination in approximately 21 minutes. At 60 km/h, it will take about 28 minutes, and at 40 km/h it will take about 42 minutes. The safest speed is 40 km/h. If you drive at 80 km/h, you'll save 21 minutes, but there's a high chance that at best, you'll end up in the hospital instead of on the beach, and at worst, you'll go to heaven, taking someone else with you. But remember, Koh Phangan is heaven on earth. So, there's no need to rush... Except maybe to our restaurant.
