Next generation has landed! Wylie is on his debut visit (solo!) to Taiwan and joined us on our run up to the farm for second flush harvest of Shan Lin Xi High Mountain Oolong. Wylie is the son of our brother Guy M. Davis from another mother Andrea Davis and everything is just swinging full circle with the son of our closest tea farmer friend taking on his dad’s legacy… OH! And first flush (spring `26) Shan Lin Xi High Mountain Oolong Tea is on the shelf as of NOW! (Do we sound excited?) 😊✊🤩🙏🏼🍃💥

Tasting second flush Alishan High Mountain Oolong Tea in the home factory of Mrs. and Mr. Xu in Ruili, Taiwan. We later took samples of these two days of harvest to our secondary source in Ruifeng and tasted them among seven days of summer harvest. We chose the lot from the Xu’s main plot of tea. This was the only crop that was machine-clipped rather than hand-plucked. When done carefully, machine clippers can prove to be optimal. 🙌🏽🙏🏼🍃🙂
