It's not often I cook Cajun food for us at home. We stick to lean meats & veggies, mostly. But because of the extreme cold, I made one of my favorite dishes to keep us warm. Chicken fricassee with buttered pepper peas. Dark chocolate fudge cake with homemade peanut butter frosting AND cake balls of the same flavor.
