Quick reminder: the tavern is closed for the next few days so we can give the place a good scrub and knock out some minor behind-the-scenes improvements (you know, all the little projects you struggle to get to done when you’re open 7-days a week.)

We will be back open normal hours on Fri, 6/5 and with all new SUMMER food + drink menus!

Good news is our sister bar, Poplar Place, will be pouring drinks their normal hours starting with “Happy Hour” on Wednesday. Venture around the corner - they’re still keeping Aberdeen buzzed. 🍸 (Visit their page for full hours)

Now in the meantime, please enjoy this throwback snap of what our “kitchen” looked like back in August 2020 during our build-out days. People have asked if this 100+ year old building is haunted. After being in this….it’s a valid question lol.
(Don’t worry, the only spirits here are the ones that are served on the rocks.)

It’s time for brunch! Featured today is Chilaquiles: carnitas, tortilla chips soaked in enchilada sauce, queso,refried beans, salsa, cilantro and two fried eggs.

Plus $5 Mimosas and $15 Mimosa Flights.

And don’t forget, we are open today 11 AM to 3 PM. Then we will be closed for a few days for deep cleaning and maintenance. Back open on Fri,6/5 with new summer menus!

🍲 SEAFOOD TOM YUM CURRY
Tom Yum-style hot n’ sour yellow coconut curry with shrimp, mussels, calamari, bell pepper, mushrooms and tomato. Topped with cilantro & scallions and served with warm bread.

🥩 PRIME RIB DINNER
Choice of 8 or 12 oz. cut. Served with cheesy mashed potatoes and roasted baby carrots, garlic bread and choice of au jus or horseradish cream for dipping.

🍒 CHERRY LIMEADE DAIQUIRI 🍋‍🟩
Light and dark rum, Aperol, cherry, fresh squeezed lime juice and simple syrup. Shaken and served up.

Jump in the car and zoom down to the tavern because today the guys are making 🗼TOKYO JOE’S ~ Japanese style Sloppy Joe Sandwiches! An open-faced toasted sesame seed hoagie roll gets loaded with sweet soy ground beef with asian spices, bean sprouts, radish, carrots, cucumber, basil, cilantro and scallions. Served with kettle chips and pickles.

🇺🇸 Today, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice is the reason we’re able to gather freely with friends, family, good food, and good company.

We’ll be open for Memorial Day if you’d like to spend part of your day with us at The Workshop Tavern. However you choose to spend it we hope it’s shared with people you love.

If you’ve been praying for a breakfast burrito then today is your lucky day. We’re stuffing today’s brunch special with breakfast sausage, tater tots, scrambled eggs, onions and a four-cheese blend and then smothering it in a green chili gravy. 🌯

Wash it all down with $5 mimosas, $15 mimosa flights, bloody mary’s, espresso martinis or just a nice cold beer.

Spring’s almost wrapped up around here, which means our SUMMER menus are right around the corner! We’ll be closing June 1–4 for summer cleaning and a few behind-the-scenes updates before new food + drinks arrive on Fri, June 5th!
So if there’s a spring favorite you’ve been craving or meaning to try then now is your chance! You’ve got about one more week to savor it before the season changes.

The long weekend is here and we’ve got all the good stuff to keep your mouth watering all weekend long! Features:

🌭ROC DOG - a nod to the owners’ Rochester, NY roots. Two all-beef hotdogs on an open faced toasted hoagie with melted american cheese, spicy meat sauce, ketchup, mustard and diced white onion. With kettle chips & pickles (or go all in and upgrade to a mini mac n’ cheese or side house salad)

🧀 TRASHER MAC - another nod to an upstate favorite. Our signature mac n’ cheese with hotdogs, spicy meat sauce, diced white onion and house hot sauce
