Dad LC Update as of 11/24;
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, from UAB hospital!! Not the most ideal thanksgiving but definitely the most thankful one!
God has truly given us a special blessing to be thankful for this year. Although we will miss being with family and friends on this day, we are blessed that dad’s surgery yesterday to remove the cancerous mass in his liver went very well, and his doctor is confident that he got it all. He is doing very well this morning; no fever, blood pressure good, and not as much pain. They want to remove the PCA pump and catheter today and, hopefully, get him up on his feet to walk a little. Once we get him healed up from this, we will look toward getting the colon mass removed (hopefully in January).
Thank you all so very, very much for your prayers and well wishes. You’ll never know how much they mean to us. Please continue to pray for a swift and full recovery for our boy! God’s got you, God’s got me, God’s got us!!
