Here is the final Brew at Sips,
I want to start by thanking Bill Sheppard for agreeing to buy a coffee shop with me 18 years ago. The beginning was tough. There were a LOT of long hours and it was a LOT of hard work. However, we were both dedicated to it. Because of our dedication, we were able to make not only a name for ourselves, but for Sips within the community.
We have seen the residents of Abilene (and other states) grow with us. Some of which even worked here. We experienced births, graduations, engagements, weddings and even funerals. All the while sharing in your joy, excitement, pain and sorrow. As we began to know you, we grew to love you and appreciate you. That is when the Sips FAMILY started! We quickly began to learn your name, and what you drank or ate. For ALL of us, it wasn't just a buisness. It was personal. Each and Every one of You matter to each and every one of us. You always have and you always will.
I personally want to thank ALL of you for the life experiences you so generously shared with us, and allowed us to share with you. But then again, that is what Family is all about. And FAMILY is what we all are!
Juliet, Aileen, Tanya, Alice and I say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for the Love, Compassion, Empathy, Trust, Understanding, Support, Generosity, Dedication, Loyalty, Recognition and Appreciation that you gave to us day after day. You are what made Sips possible. You are what made us possible. Our cups runneth over.
Although Sips is closed permanently, we want you to remember:
(Sips, where it's ALWAYS made with Love)!
