Hello fellow cake lovers and welcome to this week's weekend wind up, and we have had a very exciting week.

I had the opportunity to do quite a few interesting cakes but the Animal Hospital buncha crunch cake reel got 5000 views on Instagram. I have never had that happen before so ...I was flattered to say the least. What made that better was the cake is for one of my 3 generation families. Thank you to Kaylin and her family. For all the years and cheers.

But we did have a few other notables. The Megan moroney cake was stellar too and I loved the Cloud Nine song. The Kpop cake used computer imagery and white chocolate and I thought that was pretty cool too. Thank you to all the friends and families who trust Cake Connections for their table. It means so much.

Sooo did you have a good couple of weeks?
I have been cleaning and organizing. It's amazing how much stuff one accumulated over the years. I have been taking everything down and tossing stuff and deep cleaning other things. And I'm not done yet.

The first two weeks in July are typically slow times of the year so I doy cleaning and this year I volunteered to open the Abington Senior center on the third of July. I try to give back to the community if I can

But..I have done a few cakes. The most interesting one I guess is the Swedish Princess cake. I am thinking about doing a class for this one in August. Let's send some kids back to school with some culinary skills. Right?
It's the bowl shaped cake with the di**le rose on top.

It was a gift to receive this request so let's keep that gift going. It's how we chose to show our thanks for all who trusts Cake Connections with their table.
