Here we go again!

Because the world is on fire this summer we have no choice but to close up shop a touch early. Why you ask?

Big kitchen small space + 97 & sun makes it pretty gross for our staff.

Yes we have AC but it can only handle so much as I am sure if your bedroom
Is upstairs that gets pretty toasty at times.

We are open following the ADA Parade 11am!

Our kitchen will be open until Music begins at 6:30 or earlier if we get lots of rain!!!

Our SH will be scooping up sweet treats & social district beverages.

Please be advised our patio will be reserved for family & employees for the fireworks show.

We are open 11am July 3rd & will close at 7pm this evening.

Today is the last day of this gross heat!

We are going to be open till 7pm today!!!

We may give the kitchen a break from 3pm till 4pm. We will be open for ice cream and drinks but the kitchen will be shut down for an hour or so before dinner!

HAPPY 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO US! TODAY, MARKS 2 YEARS AT THE SH. WE HAD A HUGE BURGER PARTY PLANNED BUT THOSE PLANS WERE SCRAPPED DUE TO THE HEAT DOME WE ARE EXPERIENCING.

I get asked a lot of why we need to close early especially when we have not 1 but 2 AC units in the building. Well, let me explain.
1. The building size is so small that our huge kitchen compared to the size of the building creates so much hot air the AC can't cool it.
2. Safety for all of our staff. When there is so much humidity things become slippery, our basement stairs & floor become a tad unsafe.
3. Why close around 2pm? Because it only gets hotter as the day goes on. At 2pm our Kitchen is around 130 degrees. People can only take so much heat before they shut down.
4. Because I care about all my staff as well as my customers. These decisions are not taken lightly. We have tons of food to sell & when we close early, we can't sell it. So come join us for lunch and sweat it out like we have to do!
