JD's Cafe JD Haney opened a little shotgun building in 1955 serving good food to good folks, and now his son David is keeping that legacy going.

At JD's Cafe and Cafeteria, we have been serving good home-cooked food to our good friends for over 65 years. Come in for menu service for breakfast or lunch from 5 am- 2pm or enjoy our cafeteria from 11 am - 2pm Tuesday through Saturday. Daily lunch specials, as well as homemade pies and desserts are offered daily. You can't beat our hand- breaded made to order Chicken Fried Steak or our Onion Rings! We are located right next to Super L**e.

David and I have been reading all the lovely, heartwarming posts. Definately tearing up. Thank you all for everything! We will say it over and over again....It has been our honor and pleasure, from JD and Georgia and the rest of the family, to have served you through 66 years! Thank you for the lovely cards and letters we have recieved, the phone calls with congratulations, and all the hand shakes and hugs that came Saturday. Thanks to the Combat Infantrymen for the lovely flowers! Want to send out a most greatful thank you to our two beautiful, wonderful daughters, Mandy & Taryn, who helped out Saturday. We couldn't have done it with out you two! We love you. Thank you to all our staff, past and present for all your hard work. Thank you so very much, God bless you all for keeping JD's around for so many years. JD & Georgia would be so proud and happy. We will miss you all!

After 66 years, as of Saturday, 26th of February 2022, JD's Cafe at 911 N. Broadway in Ada will be closing its door. We have been blessed to be a part of this community for so long. It has been a very hard decision to make, but we feel it is the right decision. We are so very grateful for your years of patronage and the wonderful friends we have made. Serving multiple generations of families through the years. A special thank you to all our past and present employees who made us who we are. It has been our honor and pleasure to serve you. Thank you Ada and surrounding communities for 66 wonderful years. Stay well and be safe.

Over the years thousands of pies and holiday meals have been prepared, boxed, and sent to your homes during the holidays. We take great pride in knowing that you chose us to be a small part of your holiday celebrations.
The past two years have been challenging in many ways for so many of us as we navigate through this prolonged COVID environment. It's been especially hard on small businesses and we have had to continually evaluate and make adjustments to our business. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue our holiday pie and catering service for the foreseeable future. It has been both a privilege and a blessing to provide this service to our valued customers for so long and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yet again we have to apologize for not being able to open today. Short staffed again. Seems like a bad pattern going on. All we can do is hope to be there tomorrow. We are so very sorry for this again so soon since the last time. All we can do is apologize for the inconvenience this causes our wonderful customers. Please have patience with us, we are trying. We would like to apologize to those who didn't get waited on this past Saturday. We were so very busy and so short handed. Our waitstaff did a very good job for being that busy and very little help. We do wholeheartedly apologize for the wait our customers had to endure, and not getting all the attention they deserved. We are doing our best, we just need more help. We hate that we have had to close the doors for lack of staff, can't keep doing that. Thank you all for your patience and support through this pandemic, we are still here only because of you. If you know of an experienced waitperson....send them our way! Again, apologies.
