As we begin the second semester of the 23-24 academic year, we wanted to take a moment to remind you of the food services offered at each school location. Winston County Schools participates in the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. At breakfast, we offer three choices of meals all served with milk. At lunch, we offer four choices of meals all served with milk. Check your local school for actual serving times. Parents and guests are always welcome to come and eat with their students. Menus for your school are located at www.winstonk12.org. Click on school link and then click on menu link. Menus are also located on your schools’ lunchroom page.
Currently, we are offering every student a FREE MEAL at both Breakfast and Lunch. It is very important that all students participate and receive these meals as this will have a direct impact on the ability to continue this program in future years. If your student chooses to bring their lunch, please encourage them to also take a FREE MEAL from their school cafeteria and consume the portions they desire or place it on our share tables for other students to benefit from unwanted items. Thank you again for your support in this effort, we hope to increase our participation this semester and continue this great service in future academic years.
