A Few Fun Food Truck Facts
💥 Food trucks must have a home base (commissary- NOT our actual home/kitchen). Between the home base and truck, we must have everything that a brick and mortar restaurant is required to have including: hand washing and ware washing sinks, veggie sinks, meat sinks, adequate refrigeration, NSF grade equipment, approved water source and septic systems and much more
💥Legitimate trucks are LICENSED in the county of their home base and INSPECTED by their local health department semi-annually. We also have to provide inspection reports in each county we decide to set up in.
💥We have to have a “Person in charge” who is ServSafe manager certified. This ensures our food is prepared and served safely.
💥We pay sales tax and license fees just like any other retail business.
💥We enjoy what we do! It’s hard work but it’s worth it!

We are gearing up for our fall/winter season and will be set up OCTOBER 7th in Adel. 💥💥We are making several batches of Brunswick Stew over the next two weeks. We hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day Holiday and celebrating the freedom we enjoy through those who’ve given their all for us. 🇺🇸❤️💙🤍🇺🇸
We want to say thank you to all of our wonderful customers who came out to support us on Saturday. We appreciate seeing familiar faces, serving our Stew and Que regulars and meeting lots of first time Stew and “Q”ers❤️.
