This month we have lots to celebrate with two milestone anniversaries!

Happy 25th Anniversary, Mary!
Happy 10th Anniversary, Bria!

Mary started in 2001 making all of the bakery staples, and now her tiramisu is one of the most sought-after items at the bakery. From her first day, Mary was reliable, dependable, consistent, trustworthy, stable, and I could go on and on! I could not ask for a more loyal and dedicated employee. She is one of the hardest working people to have ever worked here. Mary is committed to making the best product possible – there is no failure for Mary! She makes sure that whatever she makes is going to turn out perfectly.

Mary certainly entertains us and makes us laugh. She can definitely take a joke and dish it out! Her and Steve had a special bond and loved to poke fun at each other. I miss those days!

Mary, you are a West Side Bakery legend. Thank you for all you’ve done over these past 25 years and for dedicating your professional life to the bakery. Here’s to many more tiramisus and laughs!

Bria, how have 10 years gone by so quickly?! When Bria was hired as our kitchen manager, she brought to the bakery her knowledge, experience and passion as a baker, along with boundless energy, a fun and upbeat personality, and lots of new and exciting pastry ideas. She grew into the role of our bakery’s general manager through her dedication, loyalty and commitment.

I love how Bria leads with a lot of heart and care. She encourages creativity and supports our employees through their successes and mistakes. Her greatest joy is not in her own success but in the achievements of her team.

Bria, thank you for everything you’ve done over these past 10 years and I can’t wait to see where your leadership and enthusiasm take us!
