We've got a fun week planned!

We are so excited to host the Northeast Regional Firefighters Challenge in Downtown Akron this weekend! Not only are we official sponsors for this event, but we also have a retired Akron firefighter as the mastermind in our brewhouse. We especially look forward to pouring pints of Blaze, and Frontline, two of our three NEW AWARD WINNERS, which also honor firefighters and first responders.

We also can't wait to welcome the artists and staff from the Rubber City Tattoo Invitational this weekend!

Join us THIS SATURDAY in our outdoor Biergarten for some live Bluegrass from The Down Pickers, featuring our friend on guitar, Lane. The show starts at 6:30PM! We'll have snacks, cold beer and wine available in the beer shed, and yes we do sell DORA beverages! Full-menu food orders can also be taken from the Biergarten! Come hang for a free show this weekend🎉 (11 S. Main St. connected to the lowest level of our city parking deck)

Get ready for a special Northeast Ohio beer event!

Join us on Sunday, August 2, from Noon to 4PM as more than 20 Ohio craft breweries take over Akronym Brewing's outdoor Biergarten, each pouring what they believe is their best lager. Only one brewery will earn the title of Best Lager and take home this year's trophy.

But the beer is just the beginning!

THIS FRIDAY🎸

We are in for a treat. Our Biergarten Session this weekend features local artist, SmokeFace🔥

Get ready for smooth grooves, funky rhythms and a whole lotta soul. SmokeFace is a multitalented producer, song writer, guitarist and bassist who has been mixing genres like Jazz, Funk, Rock, Hip Hop, Soul and Gospel for nearly 20 years.

SmokeFace toured overseas playing bass for Blues guitarist Eric Gales, he is also the bassist for the band Red Rose Panic, he leads frequent all-improv jam sessions in town, his list goes on and on. You may even remember his sound from our grand reopening party last November, playing along another talented Akron musician, Tommy Lehman.

Join us this Friday at 6:30PM for awesome vibes and great beer, at yet another Akronym Biergarten Session!

This weekend we're featuring a local band, Resolve, playing Jazz Fusion and R&B. With Richard Orr on drums, Donovan Shaeffer on the Saxophone and Jason Johnson on piano!

This show is FREE in the Biergarten starting tomorrow/Friday at 6:30. Cash is encouraged for tipping the band!

4th of July at Akronym

We're throwing a party on Main Street right before the fireworks with a local-favorite band, GHOST SLIME!

If you haven't seen Ghost Slime live, you won't want to miss out! Known for being incredibly entertaining, and loaded with 90's/early 2000's nostalgia, Ghost Slime live is more than music, it's an unforgettable Spooky Slimerock experience. GHOST SLIME

Tyler's on guitar/lead vocals, JJ plays bass/vocals, and on drums (and vocals) is our good friend Reid from Lock 15 Brewing. After a decade of performing together, Ghost Slime has become an extremely popular stop every year at Highland Square's PorchRokr festival.

Stop by around 6:30 on the 4th for an awesome show and a cold beer from the beer shed! Cheers🍻

We're kicking off our Biergarten concert series at 6:30PM with a brand new local band, On The Frontier! On the Frontier

"On The Frontier is an Americana, country, folk experience rooted in Akron, Ohio, featuring Colten (guitar, vocals), Don Shump (piano, vocals) and Donald Alan (guitar). Bound together by more than a decade of friendship and a shared love of music, the three of them have been fixtures of the local music scene, playing in various bands across Northeast Ohio before channeling that history into something new. Drawing from the rich traditions of the heartland, On The Frontier crafts songs that feel both timeless and deeply personal."
