…about last night! There is magic that happens when we gather. Something so primal, nourishing, and connective when we share our lives with each other in circle. Nine of us meditated, called in the four directions, sipped Aries Tea, and cast our visions for the coming year.

We left feeling uplifted, supported, and inspired by one another. As a teacher and ceremony facilitator I crave more spaces like this. As shared, kindness is what she would speak on if given the opportunity. What an incredible, cup-filling night.

We’re in the final days of Pisces Season (which means the entire year) and very apropos, I’ve been cocooned for a while. Long post updating on life and Astro meanderings so brace yourselves. These last moments aligned with the master of delusion Neptune bring fogginess and delusion before the spark of Aries.

During my winter hibernation a few things have pushed me deeper into my healing. Despite the snow, daily cold plunge (please avoid during your moon or if you’ve caught a bug) has supported regulating my nervous system and forcing me out of my comfort zone. Learned a stock tank heater is necessary in these parts to avoid the plunge becoming one solid cube of ice (though the water temp still lingers 35-38).

I’ve become familiar with “I’m working through this with my therapist right now!” being a common occurrence in my astrology and yoga sessions. The emergence of this theme led me to understand the gravity of this work and joy I find working with one on one clients who seek accessing their authentic selves.

Pictured above is one of the headshots (that didn’t make the final cut) for my application to the Clinical Mental Health grad program at University of Montana to become a licensed therapist. Yesterday I learned I was accepted and will begin coursework in May.

These last three years since the pandemic begin coincided with Saturn in Aquarius, restriction for the betterment of humanity, clarity on the injustices in our society, and for me aligned with my separation and divorce. It’s been a doozy for us all. But there is hope as we shift into a time of recovery and healing with Saturn in Pisces. What hard learning did father Saturn teach you 3/2020-now? What house showed you where to pay attention?

Good news: we move out of the confusion and isolation of Pisces and into catalytic Aries at the Equinox, this Monday 3/20! As a triple Aries it’s *one* of my fav times with the momentum of spring, new growth, and fire.

Warmest winter wishes as we welcome the light.

2016 I birthed on the darkest day, secretly hoping my sweet baby would arrive before the Sun moved into Capricorn (I’m a triple Sagittarius). But my tiny light bringer was meant to be a grounding, wise, mountain goat.

Tomorrow at 2:47pm we honor Winter Solstice and usher in Capricorn Season. We delight in the darkness with crafts, sweet treats, and reflective togetherness. How are you welcoming the light? Happy 60th lap around the sun to my Aries mama! Growing up with our firey Aries mama we knew boundaries, were pushed to be our best, instilled with full confidence in our potential, and had a childhood full of adventure.

Cross one of us girls? Watch out that Mars ruled Aries came out full force (made a few people cry over injustices we faced). Domineering spirit, idealistic (perhaps not always realistic), Aries mamas want you to win.

As an Aries mama myself, I am facing the shadow side of Aries raising my more subtle, sensitive kiddos. Aries is not known for being emotionally receptive…have a problem? Solve it, there’s no room for victim mentality here. Have an issue? Speak up and advocate for yourself, no mind readers here.
