Local ingredients are a staple in my product especially Flour! Due to circumstances beyond my control Biscuit Boy cannot be at the .abq for opening day due to our primary ingredient on back order due to a stocking problem and product issues. I so wanted to join up and spread biscuit joy to all! The company said it should be resolved by next week but still looking forward to being a part of this year’s market! Hopefully see you next weekend!

The biscuits are back, baby! Come see Biscuit Boy this Saturday at Movies at the Market, a special event at the Rail Yards Market starting at 4 p.m. and ending in the evening with the movie “Hocus Pocus” outside in the plaza at dusk. We will have our beloved biscuits, plus chicken wings, drinks, and desserts. We missed you! Come see us at the market at 777 1st SW. Ah yes… memories of my first market! Yesterday was the beginning of the Rail Yards market, and it was bittersweet for me knowing that the doctor is predicting at least two more months of recovery until I can do things again like serving up the best biscuits this side of the Pecos. But I am continuing to be an active part of the .abq (I am the Board President of the market helping guide the future growth and expansion of is market). I’m looking forward to starting slowly soon in June and seeing where it goes from there to hopefully being back as a vendor at the Rail Yards Market soon this summer. Keep a few prayers out for me and my speedy recovery!

First I tore my knee tendons…..
Then….
They killed Biscuit aka Rosebud! I was hit head on by a distracted driver at a full stop.

Unfortunately I cannot do the planned Valentine’s Day festivities at the Rail Yards Market till I find a new ride. 🤧😪😪😵🙄😐

On the good side: I’m recovering well enough to start planning for spring dates. Looking forward to seeing y’all again!

Life comes at you fast… last week while doing one of my favorite pastimes (skating) at North Domingo Baca, I took a bad fall avoiding a lady who ran into my way while skating, and after a week I had surgery to repair my patellar tendon that was ripped from my knee. I waited it out to see the extent after surgery and it’s major. Then there was a car accident that exacerbated the whole situation! I will have to cancel all winter holiday markets including those at the .abq and on Lomas this month. I am sorry I cannot provide the wonderful biscuit products I was looking forward to offering y’all, but looking forward to the Valentine’s Day and other markets available in mid January and February. Send prayers and hugs for a speedy recovery and looking forward to getting back to biscuiting! Bulk orders will return for businesses in late December early January when the doc gives me the all clear!
