Nestled on a hilltop overlooking The Stables, pastures, and forests, SpringHouse Restaurant treats guests to local cuisine served in rustic, casual elegance. The interior is composed of rough-hewn beams, hand-forged ironwork, and a magnificent open kitchen complete with a wood-fired oven and grill. The covered patio dining area is surrounded by stone and large shutters that open to the pastoral view. The upstairs loft dining area overlooks the main dining room and opens to a large balcony with ivy-covered chimneys. For special occasions, guests are invited to reserve the WellHouse—a private 12-seat dining room connected to the restaurant by an underground w**e cellar.

With over 25 years of culinary experience, Chef Pete’s journey has taken him from Ohio to Portugal and Washington before bringing him to Lake Martin. His diverse experience and passion for his craft are reflected in every dish.

Andrew Ellis | Chef de Cuisine

A Lake Martin native, Chef Andrew’s love for food began with family gatherings and a passion for bringing people together. From studying at Le Cordon Bleu to returning to SpringHouse, he has built his career around seasonal, locally inspired cuisine.
