A huge congratulations to Juan Ramirez of Bastille on being named 2026 RAMMY Manager of the Year, and to Andy’s Pizza for taking home Fast Casual Restaurant of the Year. These are well-deserved honors, and we’re so proud to see our neighbors recognized for their hard work and dedication.

Todd had to stop by to congratulate our fellow Alexandrians in person—it’s an honor to be part of such an incredible hospitality community.

What a night for Alexandria’s restaurant scene.

At the 2026 RAMMY Awards, Alexandria restaurants stepped into the spotlight as some of the best in the DMV hospitality world gathered to celebrate the chefs, managers, service teams, beverage pros, restaurants, and industry leaders who keep the region dining, gathering, and celebrating.

Andy’s Pizza (107 N. Fayette Street) took home Fast Casual Restaurant of the Year, while Juan Ramirez of Bastille Brasserie & Bar (606 N. Fayette Street) won Manager of the Year — two major wins for Alexandria on one of the region’s biggest restaurant nights.

And Alexandria’s strong showing did not stop there. Todd Hunt of Oak Steakhouse Alexandria was also a finalist for Manager of the Year. Matt & Tony's All Day Kitchen + Bar was recognized in the Best Brunch of the Year category. Call Your Mother Deli and Andy’s Pizza were both finalists for Fast Casual Restaurant of the Year.

The 44th Annual RAMMY Awards celebration unfolded across Arena Stage and The Anthem at The Wharf, with finalists proudly wearing purple ribbons, guests dressed to the nines, confetti, cheers, champagne, food, music, and plenty of emotional acceptance speeches.

For Alexandria, the night was another sign that the city’s restaurant reputation continues to grow well beyond our borders.

We are so proud of our fellow Alexandrian Manager of the Year, Jaun! You deserve it!

Big congratulations to Juan Ramirez, General Manager of Bastille Brasserie & Bar in Old Town Alexandria, who has been named Manager of the Year at the 2026 RAMMY Awards!

The RAMMY Awards are one of the D.C. region’s top honors for restaurants and hospitality professionals, recognizing standout talent across D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Juan’s win is a proud moment not only for Bastille, but for Alexandria’s entire restaurant community.

Bastille celebrated the news with pure joy, calling Juan “THE MOST AMAZING MANAGER IN THE DMV,” and the congratulations quickly came in from fellow Alexandria hospitality pros — including Todd Hunt of Oak Steakhouse Alexandria, who was also nominated in the Manager of the Year category.

It is always wonderful to see Alexandria restaurants and the people behind them recognized on a regional stage. Cheers to Juan, the Bastille team, and Old Town’s thriving dining scene!

Today’s the big day—the 2026 RAMMY Awards!

We couldn’t be more proud to celebrate our General Manager, Todd Hunt, as a finalist for Manager of the Year. His leadership, dedication, and passion have helped shape the incredible culture we’re fortunate to be part of every day. Joining him tonight is our executive chef, Joshua Mitchell.
