🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July, America — and cheers to 250 years of freedom!

Today, we are not just celebrating our nation’s birthday — we are reflecting on what those stars and stripes truly mean.

After six combat tours, chef has seen the cost of freedom up close. We've watched courage rise in impossible moments, and we've learned that the greatest strength of this country isn’t found in its weapons or wealth — it’s found in its people and faith.

Chris’s Dishes carries that same spirit: resilience, gratitude, faith, and love for our country.

So tonight, as fireworks light the sky, we will raise a glass to Chef's brothers and sisters who stood beside him, and to the families who were steadfast and waited, and to our great nation that still stands tall after 250 years.

Here’s to the brave and the bold, and to the families who stood by them. May we all be blessed.

Looking back on May like... wow. 🥹 We had the absolute honor of cooking for Mother’s Day celebrations .vidaventures, graduation milestones , and one incredibly memorable (and slightly soggy!) Memorial Weekend Birthday Bash. Thank you for letting us feed your favorite memories!

Chris's Dishes is deep in R&D for an upcoming event, and listen… Mrs. Dishes is putting in the work as the taste tester.

Baby back ribs glazed in a spicy peach BBQ sauce that hits like summer with a side of attitude.

Sweet potato salad—because regular potato salad finally grew up and home‑grown lettuce straight from the garden to the plate.

This is the part of the job where “quality control” mysteriously requires second helpings.
