FEATURED MENU ITEM: PIEROGIS

Pierogis is a famous polish dish that is eaten at a lot of big family gatherings and events. They are made up of dough filled with a potato stuffing.

Come try our pierogis THIS THURSDAY at our pop-up!

FEATURED MENU ITEM: SKILLET LASAGNA

Skillet Lasagna is very similar to traditional American Lasagna except all the ingredients are mixed together and cooked on a skillet instead of in the oven, giving it a toastier flavor.

FEATURED MENU ITEM: WALI-NYAMA

“Wali nyama” in English = Rice with beef.

On our menu, we want you to experience the unique sweetness of coconut milk and cardamom spice on rice served with curry-spiced beef. This dish is commonly served for dinner in Tanzania.

Fun fact: Rice with beans or rice with beef is an almost everyday meal at dinnertime.

FEATURED MENU ITEM: PILAU

Pilau is a spiced rice dish that is found on the Swahili coast of Africa or East Africa. It is often made with beef or chicken and potatoes. Pilau is heavily influenced by Indian cuisine, and it tastes great alongside kachumbari. Kachumbari is the African version of pico de gallo, except it is a bit spicier.

In Tanzania, pilau is a to-go dish prepared for guests and on special occasions. On holidays, it does not feel like a holiday without pilau as one of the dishes on the table.
