Well... we did it.
We are officially unofficial World Record holders!
(Official verification is still pending, but we're feeling pretty confident. 😉)
On July 4, 2026, a wild idea that started years ago—and, naturally, at a bar—became reality.
If you know anything about Smashed on the Rocks, you know you know this was never just about a Bloody Mary.
Dont get us wrong, we love a good Bloody Mary, but we love a good party even more.
We love giving people a reason to get together, make memories, laugh a little louder, stay a little longer and celebrate life.
It's about proving that a small town can dream big.
And wow... did you all show up.
Thousands of you packed our little marina. Boats filled the harbor. Strangers became friends, friends became family. The energy was unforgettable. For one incredible day, Algoma felt like the center of the world.
To our staff...
You are the real MVPs.
You gave up your holiday. You worked through the heat, the crowds, the endless lines, and complete chaos. You believed in this crazy idea from day one, and we will never be able to thank you enough.
If you've been around here the past few weeks, you know Mother Nature wasn't exactly on our side. Storm after storm had us wondering if this would even happen.
Then somehow...
The clouds cleared.
The sun came out.
The fog lifted.
The lake was beautiful.
We couldn't have scripted better weather.
It was one of those days you'll remember forever.
We planned every detail, from making 310+ gallons of our award-winning Bloody Mary mix to partnering with Absolut Vodka so every single free Bloody Mary was made with incredible ingredients.
And that mug...
That beautiful, sparkling, 6-foot-tall Bloody Mary mug deserves to be it's own attraction. Huge thanks to KNG Mechanical for bringing that masterpiece to life.
This event wouldn't have happened without an incredible group of people and businesses who believed in us.
