A locally owned and operated full service, family friendly restaurant, bakery, private room for parties and meetings. We make doughnuts and have handmade turnovers and any number of cakes, pies, and pastries on hand at all times. We cater any kind of party, branding parties, weddings, anniversary and have experience with large or small events with your chosen foods.

Well yesterday was our last day of being opened and I would like to say thank you to everyone that came in to see me off. There were some very heartfelt goodbyes. I just want to say had things been different but they are not. Thank you all so very much for your support and love. I will truely miss you all. Sincerely Andy Roberts.

I have been dreading today's announcement for some time now. As some of you may have heard through rumor, others I have told and asked you not to say anything until this announcement was made, and some you, this may be the first time you have heard about this. Saturday, January the 27th will be the last day the Sassy Baker will be open. This is not a decision I would have chose to make, nor is it one that I take lightly. The community of Alturas have been nothing but gracious, kind and overwhelmingly welcoming since I had opened in June of last year. The only thing I can say is Thank you for making me feel so much a part of such a wonderful community. Saying goodbye is not as easy as one might think as I will be relocating in March. I have so many wonderful memories of each of you and I have truely loved serving you with a smile. If any one would like to stop by fo a last pastry, say hello or goodbye, I would love to see you. Thank you all from the depths of my heart. I will miss you. Love Andy

Sorry everyone. I was planning on opening today, but there have been a few complications over the holidays that have made things interesting and required my attention out of town. In the rush to take care of things, when I got back to doing Bakery things there were a lot of things that needed my attention and I had some things in my inventory that needed to be addressed and replaced. I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday and I will be open at regular hours tomorrow. Thank you and I look forward in seeing everyone.
