Most of us are not big corporations with endless employees and automated systems. We’re real people putting our heart, time, money, tears, and long nights into what we do every single day.

Mistakes can happen. Miscommunication can happen. Bad days can happen.

But what hurts is when a business never even gets the opportunity to fix the issue before being publicly torn down.

A conversation can solve a lot.
Grace can solve a lot.
Communication can solve a lot.

At the end of the day, good businesses WANT to correct problems and make customers happy. We learn, grow, and improve from respectful feedback.

you paying for the talent, the time, the creativity, the lack of sleep, the back pain, the “lemme fix this one little thing,” and them YEARS it took to get this good 🎂💅🏾

And the crazy part?

Being a mother, to me, was never limited to biology.
Some of my children came from my womb… some came through marriage… some through court papers… some through God connecting hearts and lives together spiritually. But every single one of them, I have loved with everything in me.

Motherhood is sacrifice that nobody fully sees.
It’s staying strong when you’re empty.
It’s praying for people while silently breaking yourself.
It’s carrying the weight of everybody else’s pain while trying to hide your own.
It’s making sure everybody connected to you eats emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically… even when you’re starving for love yourself.

And if I can be honest…
I don’t think mothers always need gifts as much as we need to feel seen.
To feel appreciated.
To feel valued.
To know our pouring wasn’t taken for granted.

Elder Jackson summed it up best:
“I just want to be loved, respected, valued, appreciated, and seen.”

That touched me deeply because that is the cry of so many mothers who keep showing up no matter how tired they are.

I’ve poured out all I had to give into the people connected to my life. My prayers. My covering. My wisdom. My hands. My heart. My finances. My sleepless nights. My tears before God. And even when misunderstood, overlooked, forgotten, or pushed aside… my love still remains.

Because real mothers don’t stop loving when they’re hurt.
We don’t stop covering because we’re disappointed.
We don’t stop praying because we feel unappreciated.

And that’s why I believe a mother’s love is the closest thing to God’s love on earth.
A love that keeps reaching.
A love that keeps forgiving.
A love that keeps believing the best.
A love that still leaves the porch light on hoping one day everybody connected to it understands just how deeply they were loved. ❤️
