The Common Cup espresso and waffle bar is centrally located within Trade Street Commons and serves as a meeting point, where you can pick up an excellent cup off coffee or a small bite to eat. The bar is setup to encourage conversation however long or brief. Immediately adjacent soft seating is provided in the hall, spilling over into the common area, reinstating a sense of gathering.

Today’s a bitter sweet day - Emma and Acacia’s last day working together! These two have been a powerhouse team, working the kitchen together on weekends for the last 2.5 years! Emma started with us at 16, stepped into the kitchen and we all discovered her quick, steady, calm under pressure skills as she worked the busiest days our shop has seen. Just over 2.5 years later she’s college bound - where we know she’ll excel. But she will be missed here!

Acacia, kitchen manager, has been with us for 3+ years. She has an eye for running a tight, clean kitchen while leading by example. She’s been a great role model and embodies all that we love about The Common Cup.
