The Vandalia Trail covers 18+ miles across two distinct segments, one threading through suburban Plainfield and another winding through the rolling rural farmland of western Hendricks County near Amo and Coatesville. What makes it truly one-of-a-kind is a parallel equestrian path between Amo and Coatesville, a rare feature in the regional trail network and a reminder that this corridor was built for the whole community, not just cyclists.

During (Apr 25-May 3), a community bike ride on Apr 25 covers 20 miles through Plainfield with a lunch stop at a trailside restaurant.
