Wow! We're getting really close to the 100,00 hot dogs served milestone and we're so thankful for your support. We love our new location in downtown Anacortes and we're excited for all the big things yet to come to the space (The Locker Room Sports Lounge and The Patio with live music). Now we need to figure out how we'll celebrate that 100,00 hot dog milestone... perhaps a special prize to whoever gets that milestone dog. Hmmm...

Dockside Dogs is growing and looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

We’re not a typical hot dog spot—our menu features creative, high-quality hot dogs alongside fresh salads, warm Bavarian pretzels, steakhouse chili, clam chowder, and desserts like warm apple crisp and brownies with ice cream. We take pride in doing simple food really well, and we’re looking for someone who takes that same approach.

What you’ll do:
• Prepare and assemble gourmet hot dogs and other menu items with consistency and attention to detail
• Keep a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Work as part of a team during busy service periods

What we’re looking for:
• Reliability—someone who shows up on time and ready to work
• Ability to move with urgency while maintaining quality
• Positive attitude and team mindset
• Kitchen or food service experience preferred, but we may be willing to train the right person

What we offer:
• Up to $20/hour + tips, depending on experience
• 30 hours/week, possibly more, including evenings and weekends
• Fast-paced but supportive work environment
• Opportunity to be part of a growing local business

When people ask what makes a gourmet hot dog, this is one of our many answers... The Bonsai Teriyaki Dog ~ a wagyu beef frank on a seared bun with sauteed red onion, bacon, caramelized pineapple and fresh organic cilantro, topped with teriyaki sauce and toasted sesame seeds. Served here with a kosher dill pickle and a side of potato salad. Oh yeah!
