Making brackets for turn signal set up.

Fun afternoon in the workshop, needed to make some alloy brackets up to fit on the CB750 Machine and used some scrap channeling to create what I needed.

I’m happy with the result and cost me nothing, I find working up here so therapeutic and am more than happy at the end result. Still plenty to do and I need to design a paint scheme that will suit this bar hopper custom.

I have no time scale on this 750 project and really am enjoying the build up of spare parts to turn this old girl into a different looking machine.

Thought that today I would fit a set custom CNC round Aluminum handlebar mirrors to the bike and I really like them.
Glad that I kept these, been in a box for about 8 years.

Well, I managed to get quite a bit done this Arvo , So The exhaust has turned out how I pretty much wanted it to.
This time a 4 into 2 system and I thought a nice touch would be Oval shaped classic Matchless rear Silencers.
Starting to take some shape but long way to go.
Thought that I would share.
This is a 1974 and fitted a 1978 motor.

For 26 years, Carpy’s Cafe Racers has been more than a website, more than a workshop, and more than a place to buy parts.

It has been a journey.

From building custom cafe racer motorcycles to designing and making parts for riders all over the world, every order, every build, every late night in the shop, and every conversation with customers and friends has been part of an incredible ride.

As I get closer to retirement age, it’s time for me to slow things down a little and concentrate on life in general. That doesn’t mean I’m disappearing. I’ll still be out in the hobby shop, making parts when the mood strikes, offering pieces on eBay and other places, and still building machines to sell when they’re finished.

But the website has run its course.

It’s time to find 5th gear, settle in, and cruise along the highway of life.

Thank you to everyone who placed an order, supported my work, shared kind words, became a friend, or simply followed along over the years. Your support has meant more than you’ll ever know.

I’m still around on social media, so keep in contact and watch my posts. There will still be bikes, builds, parts, stories, and plenty of life from the workshop.

It’s been a fun ride.

Thank you for being part of it.

Thought I’d make a short rear fender for this old girl , found a cool small LED tail light and fitted that, wired it up and I think it will look great for this bar hopper CB750 .
Will be running a lower shock mount license plate frame next.
Still need to straighten it all out and tighten up bolts then clean up wires before polishing fender , but it needed a short rear fender for the look I want.
I’m happy with it snd built from parts laying around the barn and garage.

Still not sure on tank color scheme but I have a few ideas up my sleeve . Will remake the seat and use memory foam .
Just a fun inline four to blap around and enjoy.

Well. Today I made myself busy in the barn, determined to make a start on this old 500 Honda.
The fuel tank is an old fiberglass TT make and fuel had made the tank delaminate and sticky resin eventually gummed up the carburetors.

I acquired this old sickle from a buddy of mine who imported from England many years ago.

I was determined to get this old inline four to fire up once again.
