Whether you're craving a classic or something new, we have the perfect bite for you. In 1762, John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich®, invented the meal that changed dining forever. As the story goes, he was playing cards and did not want to leave the gaming table to eat. He asked for a serving of roast beef to be placed between two slices of bread so he could eat with his hands. Thus, the Sandwich was born.

The wait is over.  Earl of Sandwich has officially arrived at Downtown Disney District! 🥪✨

We celebrated opening day with Disney guests, locals, and longtime Earl of Sandwich fans who came out to experience our newest storefront. From the first sandwiches served to the excitement throughout the day, we’re so grateful for everyone who helped us kick off this new chapter.

Step inside our largest and most immersive Earl of Sandwich yet. Today, we’re thrilled to open our doors at Downtown Disney. The all-new location features The Carvery, where premium pastrami is carved fresh throughout the day, an expanded bakery filled with oversized cookies and fresh-baked treats, refreshing beverages including beer, wine, and frozen cocktails, and, of course, all the sandwiches you’ve come to know and love.
