Many of you probably haven’t had the pleasure to interact with our guy Duncan here so it’s about time we introduce the fellow.
Duncan started working with us at the shop part time about 2 years ago with no previous kitchen experience and is now more versed than we could have ever imagined. He usually comes in and hops straight into action working on the line during lunch service and closes the kitchen most days. If there is ever a side project or deep clean task to handle he’s the one to step up and knock it out no questions asked. He also gets involved in some projects like the making the aiolis, soups, baking focaccia, and restocking the line.
It’s been a true joy to watch Duncan develop as a culinary professional but more rewarding getting to know him personally. Whether it’s gaming, music, his dog, or the latest show there’s always some wholesome banter to be had. He’s honestly the smartest out of all of us too because he doesn’t even have IG.
So, next time you’re in the shop and you see Duncan give him some knuckles will ya?
