that’s one small step for CMR, one giant leap for Anchorage
I wanted to see where we were at. So close to dialing in. We have a final push to bring water and electricity to the bar …then move everything from my wife’s living room into its final position. The health department has given us the 👍 but, alas, we need a change order to go through city planning. That’s on me (I ended up adding more jobbys to the thingamajig, and it was too many jobbys for what we initially planned on)

so, even if we get the plans approved tomorrow, I don’t think we are gonna get all the work done, all the inspections done, all the stuff moved in, and line up my beard in time to open this weekend.
I have to say, the amount of times people ask us when we’ll be open is the most humbling thing one could ever ask for. We plan on delivering. For the folks on the East Side that just seem to keep getting looked over. We got you. Just gimme a bit more time. Our crew is tight, the coffee is legit. I leave you with something my tv used to tell me, right when I needed it most:
