HSO will be offering school supply kits again this year to help ease the back-to-school chaos in August! You can purchase your kit(s) for the 2025-26 school year using the link below.

We have also changed online payment options! You can pay online using PayPal/Venmo or send a check!

**Please note that kits may have some excluded items that your student will still need like trapper keepers, calculators & headphones.

3rd-8th graders that completed the William Allen White reading challenge & the Battle of the Books team celebrated with a Harry Potter themed party on Tuesday! 🪄

Students ate snacks while completing a Harry Potter quiz to determine which “House” they were sorted into, then each received a tie with their House colors to wear during the party.

Each House rotated through 4 centers: treat tasting, games, potion making & creating their own wand! At the end of the party each witch & wizard got to spin the wheel for a treat bag!

Thank you to Stephanie Corbett, Sara Westerhaus, Stacy Ruch, Stephanie Spexarth, Jen Cox & Amber Bartomeo for planning, organizing & running the activities for this fun tradition! 💙

🍎Staff Appreciation Day 5🍎

Staff was treated to a refreshing Dirty Soda Bar with all the ingredients to make their own perfect concoction! 🥤🍋‍🟩🍋

Thank you to everyone that brought soda to help make this fun treat happen & to all the awesome volunteers that contributed throughout this week by bringing items & helping with set-up! We couldn’t do it without you! 🙌🏻
