We may be on vacation physically, but mentally we’re still at work.

While everyone else is sleeping, I’m awake at 4:30 a.m., watching the sunrise thinking about how we can improve, grow, and make our business even better when we return home.

Running a small business isn’t just a job, it’s something you carry with you everywhere. The scenery may change, but the passion, ideas, and drive never take a day off.

That said, we’re also taking time to appreciate these moments with family, create memories, and recharge. Sometimes the best ideas come when you’re away from the daily routine.

Balancing a business and family is one of the hardest things to do. While our business is our livelihood, the family we have built is our greatest blessing and our highest priority.

We have been fortunate to successfully balance both over the past few months, but as we head into what promises to be a very busy summer season, we feel it’s important to take a step back and spend some quality time with our children before the rush begins. Creating lasting memories with them is something we never want to take for granted.

Like many small business owners, we have been pushing ourselves close to burnout, and unfortunately our kids sometimes feel the effects of that pressure as well. Family and personal well being are important, and we believe this short break will help us return refreshed and ready for the busy months ahead.

For that reason, Hot Berries & Crepes will be closed from “May 31st through June 12th”.

We will reopen on Saturday, June 13th, and look forward to serving you again soon.

Thank you for your understanding, support, and loyalty. We truly appreciate each and every one of you.

We hope you have a wonderful couple of weeks ahead. Be sure to make time for your family, create special memories, and take care of your mental and physical well being.
