Hey hey hey! Just a heads up that the new owners are firing up the smoker and OPENING tmrw, Friday!! They're ready to dish out the same delicious 'cue you're used to getting from Smoke Rings! Also, they've launched their own page under the snazzy new name Smoke Rings BBQ AF so make sure to LIKE and FOLLOW their page for all the juicy updates and behind-the-scenes shenanigans! One more thing we feel the need to do is express our gratitude to a few people who impacted Smoke Rings BBQ from the beginning and some who have kept us going all the way.

First off in the line up is Chance Wilson…this is where the logo began! We picked the name up off a tea towel in Amarillo and then needed a catchy something! Chance quickly saw the name and said why not the caterpiller and instead of “who r u” do BBQ
This happened in less than 5 minutes. Thanks for your fun quick wit kiddo!❤️

Next we reached out to a long time friend Lindsay Gill King who knows us and my funky personality….she took the name and idea and created the perfect logo for the trailer, shirts, biz cards etc.

Once we got our ducks in a row it was time to kick off our social media. This is when Samantha Wilson stepped in and stepped up helping us get this thing live! Tremendous help in getting Smoke Rings out there and then she introduced me to Canva!

First holiday weekend we had was Labor Day…this was our first bulk order made by Tracy Milbert Manders. This girl has been our biggest cheerleader and bulk order supporter since. We love you!!

We quickly realized that the early mornings we were going to require more caffeine than we were consuming at home and were so happy to find Taty At The Bump is within walking distance every single day, every single weekend….with outstanding coffee and some of the best friends in Phil Master and Hannah Mercek and all the gang.

Visit Angel Fire, Greg Ralph and Brandon Prather these guys have been with us all along. Keeping us on our toes, sending visitors our direction and just being great friends!

The Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce has helped us reach far and wide thru the weekly e blast!

Keeping us in our cool shirts for the past few years is the amazing Britt Biggs

Last but for sure not least, Elevated Pour, with Matt Utzman and Mia Jackson and their crew. Also within walking distance…at the end of a long day they provide the most amazing place to go unwind, catch up and end the day with a smile.

We love all of y’all and look forward to continued love, laughter and friendship.

Grant and I are wrapping up our ridiculously awesome stint as the head honchos of Smoke Rings BBQ. We've spent a decent chunk of time schooling the new owners on how to que like pros and gently nudging them to put their own spin on things, plus giving them the lowdown on how to keep this BBQ train from derailing. We're beyond stoked for all the love we've gotten from the community and hope you'll shower the new owners with the same warm fuzzies. We're inviting you to swing by this Friday from 11am to 5pm and Saturday from 11am until we run out of grub, as we party like rockstars one last time before the sun dips below the horizon. It's been an absolute blast serving this amazing community, making buddies, and forming friendships that'll last longer than a rack of ribs on a hungry Saturday afternoon. We appreciate your loyalty and can't wait to give you a big ol' hug goodbye.

Alright folks, it's time to face the music - our final two days are looming and the OGs of Smoke Rings want to give you a heads up. The new owners have been stalking us, learning our secrets and perfecting our recipes, and they're ready to take over. They'll pick up right where we left off, so you won't even notice the difference, except maybe they'll be nicer to you than we were. As soon as they've got their own page up and running, we'll make a few final posts to redirect you to their page, so PLEASE, for the love of all things barbecue, like and follow them so you can stay in the loop. We'll give you a couple of reminders, and then we'll delete our original page and ride off into the sunset. This weekend is your last chance to come visit us, say goodbye, and grab some barbecue from the OGs - it's been real, folks, but it's time to pass the torch.
