This is your sign to come to Recess ☕️ We know how hard it is to pack up the diaper bag and get in the car, but we promise you’ll be happy you did! Grab a matcha, a coffee, or a glass of w**e and relax while you watch your kids bounce their energy away. We can’t wait to see you!

Things are getting spooky around here!

October is filled with fun fall events and we are getting in the spirit with spooky decor around the café (ghosts not always present). Check out our October lineup: book club, chess club, and our haunted house at the Trick or Treat Downtown Parade 🎃

It’s always a relief to meet up with other parents, but it doesn’t have to come with a to-do list.

Make a mess in our play room instead of at our house! We have w**e, coffee, cheese boards, and plenty of snacks for your kids. No hosting necessary.

There’s nothing a Waldorf scarf can’t do. Our employees are trained baristas, but they’re also passionate about play. So if they’re not behind the espresso machine, check by the slide.

The latest in fashion, food, and drinks at Recess! We spend a lot of time vetting vendor partners and stocking our shelves with products we believe in. From soda with simple ingredients to clothes that are 100% cotton, we think you’ll notice the quality.

Welcome to Recess! We talk a lot about building community on here, but taking that first step of going somewhere new can be intimidating. Fortunately, we take our job as a welcoming crew very seriously. We’re happy to answer any and all questions!
