A few more things checked off our to-do list, and Simple & Sweet is starting to come together! There’s still plenty to do, but seeing our vision come to life makes all the hard work worth it. We can’t wait to share it with you! 🤍

The counter top was stained and the brackets for the fudge counter sneeze guard was installed. I will order glass tomorrow from Duty’s. Reagan put the ice cream counter together and I ran off and didn’t take a picture!

The base cabinet is painted. We still have to stain the top, add some trim and toe kick. I unpacked the ice cream cooler too!

Another piece of Simple & Sweet is coming together! 🖤 I finished the cabinet that will house our fudge counter, cash register, and one of our bakery cases. A little more progress, a little more sawdust, and a lot of excitement imagining it filled with sweet treats! 🍪🍫
Next up butcher block counter and paint!

It’s been a very busy weekend! Eric tore the awning down and did some painting on the exterior. I was busy painting on the inside. Dad, Reagan, and I hung up part of the interior sign. I almost forgot, but Reid Morrison finished laying the new floor and it looks amazing!

We’ve been up to our elbows in fudge at Simple & Sweet! 🍫🤎 This box is packed with cookie dough, Oreo, chocolate, peanut butter, and birthday cake!

Today’s lineup got even sweeter with caramel apple, maple walnut, Americana, peanut butter pie, and regular peanut butter. Apparently, we don’t know when to stop… and we’re okay with that! 😂
