Are you ready for some barbecue? Well, we have a fabulous BBQ sauce recipe to share with you. Even though summer is but a memory, there's always room for good “"Q"!
Here's what you'll need:
2 T butter
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 canned chipotle chili in adobo sauce, finely chopped
2 T brown sugar
2 T red wine vinegar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup ketchup
2 T dark molasses
1 T Nielsen-Massey Mexican pure vanilla**
10 1/2 oz bittersweet chocolate, at least 70% cocoa
2 oz Nielsen-Massey Pure Chocolate extract**
In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Add the garlic, and cook until fragrant, but not browned, about 2 min. Add the remaining ingredients, and simmer 45 min. to one hour.
