Be part of the races, even if you don’t want to run

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for two iconic Taos Ski Valley Trail Race events.

The Up & Over Trail Races and Bull of the Woods Trail Races are a great way to spend time in the mountains supporting trails. And - you don’t have to run 😉.

Host aid stations, be a course monitor, help with registration, and more. We have a place for you 🫵!

Up & Over 10K Trail Runs - August 1 & 2

Bull of the Woods Trail Races - September 5

Be careful, for all our sakes

Tomorrow the Carson National Forest will enter Stage Two restrictions. How will this affect utilizing the forest roads around Red River? Please read the entire list attached below. But the high points that will impact visitors the most will include making sure that all OHVs have functioning spark arrestors, no smoking, no fireworks, no campfires of any kind, and no driving off the forest roads or trails, except for up to ten feet off the road or trail if there is no grass or vegetation. This last rule is always the case, so it should be common knowledge. However, backcountry enthusiasts may find that this will be enforced more.
Please respect the forest always and make sure generations to come will enjoy what we can today.
