KITH+KIN TRAILER HAS A NEW HOME

So, only a select few of you will be happy to hear this news. Why? Well, because it’s new home is the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

Our first day was Wednesday and already we’re receiving very positive feedback.

For those of you with a badge (boy are those things tough to get), our hours are the following:

M-F: 6:30-1:00
Sat: 7:30-2:00

Right now they’re subject to change till we figure out what works best for us.

We’re serving drip coffee, flavored iced tea, all iced and steamed lattes, Jahvaccinos, Lotus Energy drinks and matcha.

We want to thank everyone at FLETC for being so welcoming to us.

IT'S OFFICIAL. WE HAVE A NAME.

Introducing the new Cluck Norris sandwich! Starting today you can purchase this sandwich in-person and on online.

So, when we put it to a vote, Cluck Norris won by a landslide.

However, we'd like to give an honorary mention to a name suggested by a customer, the Spicy Clucker. It also received several votes from customers, but we decided to stick to the contest and give it the most voted name.

With that being said, we're giving Remi Gibbs a free sandwich for coming up with that name! Let us know when you are coming and we'll hook you up.

The Cluck Norris features a house-baked sesame seed brioche bun, Boar's Head Ever Roast Chicken and cheddar cheese, house made green chile bbq sauce AND pickled onions, thick cut bacon, fried jalapeno strips and shredded romaine lettuce.

We’re open all day, and night, at the UFO Festival. Come see us right out in front of the courthouse.

Come try one our several signature, housemade drinks like the Coconut Ube Cold Brew or Matcha, Cafe de Olla ice latte, Honey Bourbon, Lavender Vanilla or Hatch+Honey Latte. Only one hour in and a customer liked our Hatch+Honey iced latte so much she killed it and came back for another!

We also have a long list of Lotus Energy drinks and flavored organic iced teas.

We’ll be here till 10pm so stop by!

SOME GOOD NEWS AND SOME BAD NEWS AND THEN MORE GOOD NEWS.

Kith+Kin Roasting Co IS open today in both our Artesia cafe AND in Roswell. We'll have our trailer on Main Street right in from of the Chaves County Courthouse for the UFO Festival!

Bad news is the Artesia cafe is close tomorrow for the 4th.

And more good news is the trailer will still be open from 10am-10pm on the 4th in Roswell at the UFO Festival. Stop by an see us for an iced latte, Lotus Energy drink, Jahvaccinos and even steamed lattes. Yeah people are still ordering those in this weather.

THIS MONTH'S POURED INTO ARTESIA

Once a year, Written in Red collaborates with local small businesses and organizations to collect school supplies for local kids in need.

Instead of collecting items, we use our fundraising program, Poured Into Artesia, to raise money that will be used to purchase these items.

Starting today, July 1, we'll be donating $1 for every sale of our blended Jahvaccinos. Most coffee locations use a premade mix in their blended Frappes. At Kith+Kin we make our base from scratch using....nah. We're keeping it a secret. But you won't find a creamier, more rich, smooth frappe in Artesia.

And don't forget our donation bin! If you've been blessed, pay it forward to these families in need.

NEW SANDWICH DROP...ALMOST.

So, we challenged Caiden, from our kitchen crew, to come up with a new sandwich. Something that wasn't just a "build-your-own" creation using ingredients we already had. Something completely new. And we think he knocked it out of the park with this. one.

However, one of the hardest parts it giving it a creative and clever name. That's where you come in.

We're going to throw a few name options that we came up with at you. You vote with A, B, C or a fourth choice: a name of your own. I was a little hesitant on the name your own cause I know some of you are gonna get silly. But I'm taking a chance.

NEW CHEESECAKE DROP!

As some of you may or may not know, we don't serve your ordinary cheesecakes at K+K. This is an old family recipe that my grandmother handed down to my mother which was then handed down to me. And yes, of course I asked for her permission to use this recipe and no, you can't have it. Alison ain't talking either.

This is our S'mores Cheesecake which features a graham crust, chocolate chunks, chocolate ganache and toasted marshmallows.

I just checked the case. There's some there so come get them while they last. We'll keep this cake around as long as it's selling.

Come try out or newest, always made in-house, ice cream flavor the Blueberry Jam Cheesecake.

The blueberry flavor is a jam that Alison, our baker, make fresh in the bakery. We add that to the cream, along with some graham cracker and mini cheesecake bites.

So much blueberry flavor and a staff favorite.

Come try it out now and if you order 2 scoops of any of our house made ice creams from June 3-6, we will donate $1 to our Poured Into Artesia recipient the Nailon family.
