Make It Factory had an amazing time at the Turner County Schools career fair! 🎉

It was a joy connecting with so many bright students and sharing more about entrepreneurship 💼 and what a business incubator is all about. We also gave them space to express themselves creatively through doodling, sketching, and painting 🎨 — and of course, capturing the moment in our photo booth 📸!

But let’s be real — the prize wheel 🎯 was the star of the show. It felt great giving out free merchandise from our boutique Kamo King 👕🧢 to the lucky winners!

Appreciate all the love and curiosity from the next generation of creators and changemakers! 💡🙌

Ashburn's Annual Trick or Treat in the Streets has come to a close, leaving behind cherished memories of a Halloween filled with community spirit and delight. Downtown Ashburn was transformed into a whimsical Halloweentown, where local businesses and organizations generously handed out candy to residents of all ages. A special experience awaited at Make it Factory, where families had the opportunity to pose for free photos with Hank the skeleton, adding a unique and spine-tingling dimension to the unforgettable Halloween festivities. This year's event was a hauntingly delightful success, with costumes, treats, and shared joy bringing the community closer together. 🎃👻🍬

💗 It was an honor to partner with Councilman Sheldon Smith for his Conquering Breast Cancer event. Dr. Nackashi from Southwell Medical shared information about how to prevent, identify and treat breast cancer. Mary Ann Sturdivant from Turner County Health Department, Donna Pate from Southwell Medical - Ashburn Primary Care, and Kay Daniels-Tennille with South Ga Rehabilitation also shared useful information on the topic. Thank you to the guests, the speakers and to Firehouse Subs Tifton, Zaxby's Ashburn GA, and Chicken Salad Chick Albany for sponsoring food and refreshments.
