Watch this video. I can't believe the Ashburn Pub just celebrated it's 27th anniversary. The restaurant industry is a tough one, and to still be going strong is a testament to our incredible staff, amazing customers and friends, but also to the people who started it all : Mark Eckert and Scoobie Eckert Mark planted his flag in 1995 before Ashburn was what it is today, and was busy right from day one. Jenn and I have been a part of the Pub since 2004, and we have tried to keep the heart and soul of the Pub going throughout the years and most recently, through these ever-changing times. From $1 beer night to Pub trivia, we have always meant to keep that "corner neighborhood bar" feeling going when everyone around us was losing that intimate customer service feeling. Mark always said : "nothing beats a cold beer and a warm handshake" and it is as true today as it was 27 years ago. There are so many people we could have included in this video, so if we missed someone, it was not intentional, it's extremely hard to fill two minutes with over to decades of memories. However, know that this clip will give you the sense of what we are all about at the Pub. Family. Thank you to every employee that wore the Pub brand over the years, and a huge shout out to every single friend and customer that has come in and supported this little neighborhood pub, it means the world to us.
