Put on a hoodie, and then put on a second hoodie and join us New Year’s Day for free lunch from the patio. Welcome 2025 with a good-times rice bowl with lentils, greens, pickles, and a warm tahini. We get going at noon, and go for a couple of hours. We will have bowls and forks; bring a container if you’d like to take it with you. Come out and say, ‘hi.’

Push 2022 off this Saturday, January 1 with our fourth annual free grab-and-go lunch from the patio to benefit Helpmate of North Carolina. Every bit of all donations and gratuity will be donated to their project to build a new women’s facility. This is a free lunch, and no donation is required. We will be serving a simple, hearty lunch in a to go container with a fork, but feel free to bring your own container. There will also be free beer, and we’ll be pouring wine in itty-bitty cups. We have parking lot space available in which to eat, a front bench, and lots of space for chairs. 12:00’ish until the food is gone…maybe 2:00-3:00’ish.
